Re: v8

No it is possible. Turbos, nitruos, straight piped. Race fuel, timing increased.

Very costly but I am sure some tuner could probably acomplish it.

n/a!!!

yer i know that, but someone said that from N/A 5.4 v8 puts out 2400hp, and that is just rediculous. You would need like twin turbo nos to pump that amout of power.

Re: v8

you would need more than just two turbo and nitrous. I think it was a typo maybe 240HP. N/a.

Re: v8

If this 5.4L motor could make over 1200Nm of torque and rev to over 15,000rpm... it could make 2400Hp!

But the engine life would be about an hour and would need the profits of Microsoft to build just one engine...

HP = torque(in FtLbs) x rpm / 5252
1200Nm = approx 900FtLbs
So Hp = 900 x 15,000 / 5252 = 2570Hp!

Re: v8

well i have seen a 6 cylinder turbo charged 3 litre making about 1400hp on a fcuked up tune. so i dont find it much harder with an extra 2 cylinders.and tha was on low boost too.

Re: v8

1400Hp huh? Which turbo(or turbo's) has that much airflow on low boost?

In my profession, if someone in Australia was making that much power with less than 18psi, I would know about it
