Accord lurching at highway speeds
I have a 1986 Honda Accord. I have been experiencing a skipping problem at highway speeds. The problem is, I don't know if the engine is shutting down momentarily, or if the tranny is down shifting or slipping. I have had two mechanics look at it, and they tried several things. So far the plugs have been changed, the wire harness, fuel pump, fuel filter, and I changed the tranny fluid and replaced it with Honda fluid, not just Dexron you can purchase at an auto parts store. Anybody ever have this type problem? the car actually runs very good, except for the little jump occasionally. My Honda has 92000 miles.
