Another Transmission Problem
Okay, I have a 1995 Lumina with only 86,000 miles and not driven very hard at all. Recently I was pulling into the driveway and when I went to give it gas the engine revved up but barely moved forward. Everything was working fine then all of the suddent this happened. There was no eventual slippage or anything. Just happened all of the sudden. Reverse does work however. I've read about the clutch solenoid but wanted to get some more input. Also, the same time this happened all the power windows went out but fuses are fine. Any ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Another Transmission Problem
I had the TCC problem... the car stalls in drive and reverse when the TCC locks up. After it cools down a bit, it will start and run fine again.
