Question Offset on old Pathfinder Rims

I just picked up four of the older Pathfinder rims. I had looked at a buddy of mine Pathfinder earlier and they looked like they had a deep offset like the X. Once I got them home and cleaned them up, I found they actually have a offset of 25.

So the question is how well will these work? I have no idea how much a difference of 15mm will affect how they fit in the wheel well. I want to put 31" BFG MTs on them......

Thanks for your help

If you have these Pathfinder wheels you're fine.

OLD Pathfinder rims

I'm talking about old school rims...The ones that look like they're from a Buck Rogers flick...

I've always thought those wheels were cool. Would love to see 'em on an X. How much did you score them for?

Assuming they're the same 7" width, you should be fine, basically you're pushing everything 15mm further out. With 10.50" wide tires, you're not going to have any problems other than you'll probably have to nibble a bit more on the trim. Can't be as much as you would need for 32x11.50 on the factory rims though.

Here's a handy offset calculator

They're in really good shape, with very little damage. The place wanted $250 for them, but I traded in my old Generals, so I was out $125

That settles it. I must move north to the land of good deals! The *only* Nissan dealership here wanted $360 for those same exact wheels.

I don't remember the name of the place. It is up on Highway 99 right where the Mukilteo speedway ends. Some random, "used tire" place. I just went up there because I knew they would buy my old stock Generals. When I walked in to the shop, the rims were just sitting there. Picture beams of light coming from them, doves flying around and the heavens singing "AAAHHHHHHH" and that is how I felt about finding them. The wife didn't even blink when I starting price dealing with the guy (we're on one of those "house buying" budgets....).

I asked if they had any extra (I would have liked one for a spare), but they only had the four. The real test will be once I mount some tires. I still feel weird about buying used rims from someone I don't know....
