Good Winter Tires

I live in Alaska, and have been looking for some good winter tires... as we get a sh*tload of snow here. I need tires that will fit my 2000 Silverado 1500 4X4. I NEED STUDDED TIRES!! Not all weather/ all season. I have been looking at WinterMaster Tires. But if anybody has any suggestions, that would be awesome!! Thanks guys!

Re: Good Winter Tires

Yup! YOu do get a sht-ton of snow, maybe this will help, I'm originally from Pennsylvania, near Lake Erie so we used to get allot of lake effect snow! Anyways, I know that the BF Goodrich A/T worked well, but there is on substitute for the studs! I think that BFG makes a studded snow tire, not sure though. Sorry couldn't be of more help.

Re: Good Winter Tires

Are they studded tires?? I mean, we also have a lot of ice, I need to know how they handle in ice and not just snow.
