VR6 Supercharger or Turbocharger ? Need Opinions

Ok guys I have a VR6 with fairly low mileage 50,000. Its an everyday driver from my house to school. Should I put a supercharger on it or a turbocharger ? I have a good amount of money laying around for this project so money is not a problem. The car is stock also. I was wondering which exhaust I should go with for the Turbo or Supercharger also and what size. I like the TT. Thanks.

OK. Kinetics Motorsports in Canada sells a 245whp turbo kit for $2200 cheaper than any Super charger kit and much cheaper than a regular turbo kit for VR6's.
Yes if you do get an exhaust and know you are going to get a turbo or super charger get a 2.5 or 3.0 inch exhaust(less back pressure=more hp.)

There is also C2 motorsports that has a super charger kit out around $3200
VFvortech has a super charger kit $3500 for the kit
ATP,HPA,EIP, are other companies that have turbo's for our cars but they run you like $4000.00 for a stage one and yield around 300whp(wheel horse power)however Kinetics motorsports will be releasing upgrades to their turbo kit for around $900 which will put you around the 320whp range.
Get a hold of Kinetics in canada and talk to them. Eurotuner did test drive of one of their turbo kits and loved its reliability and power. Later hope this helps.
Yes and if you want cams keep stock ones or they have Schrick 248 turbo/super charger cams.
other things you might want would be a limited slip differential Quaife or Peloquin LSD's are well known and reliable.
Stronger clutch and lightened flywheel.
ACT, Neuspeeds ND clutch, SACH makes a race clutch, but I have heard bad things about Centerforce clutches.

The Kinetics turbo after being installed would probably cost around $3000-$3500 which is still cheaper than a VFvortec supercharger kit before installation.
Do the smart thing and buy Kinetics.
You might also want to big valve turbo cylinder head to help with the air flow. EIP and some others make them.
Turn2 motor/tranny mounts help traction also.
Other questions I will answer if you need.

I would rather have a supercharger by VF then a turbo because I feel supercharger's are more reliable and they are belt driven so the power is pretty much instant instead of the delay with a supercharger. I am looking to put together a good combo, I want to get as much HP out of this motor as I can but I still want to drive it everyday, any suggestions ? I was thinking stage 1 supercharger with TT exhaust but I see they made a stage 3 supercharger but I don't know how reliable that is ? I don't want to break down every month so I really wan't some suggestions.

Lmao, thats for the 24v aka mk4 models which are the 99's and up. Does anyone know how reliable the Stage 3 kit from VF is ?? The peloquins differential is a must though, I have heard great things about it. The Quaiffe is junk!!
