vw kew blades
How can I swap out the key blade from an old remote to a new remote? I tried prying the front part of the remote apart, but I did not want to break the plastic.

Re: vw kew blades
The key blade is attached with a pin at the pivot point.

Re: vw kew blades
screw under an emblem? NO.
The switchblade key has a little pin holding the key to the hinge mechanism. Open the key halfway, and look at the hinge. Push that little pin out with a tiny screwdriver, and the key comes out. Put the new blank in, push the pin back in, and you're done.
