Question referrals and advice, please

Hi all..had some time to look over my new baby, a '69 Camaro RS convertible with a 454 under the hood . Before my wife sent me photos of this car (I was out at sea at the time) and told me that this was my new car, I wasn't a car-guy - hated driving, would do ANYTHING so my wife would drive and not me. Not anymore.

I'll try to figure out how to download pictures of this car, as there's a lot that I don't know about this car, it's past history, etc. From the VIN, I can get that the car is from the Ohio plant, that it started out as an 8-cylinder, and that it came out of the factory as a convertible.

While not show-perfect (yet), I've made a basic list of what I need to get this car to almost-perfect specs. Problems is, I don't know where to start. Hope you can help at least point me in the right direction, or if you're in TX, where the pick-n-pulls and/or car clubs are located so I can try to get parts and assistance.

So far, I need to replace (can't remember the part name) the bracket for the interior rear view mirror, as the present one looks, well, melted, and won't hold up the sun visors.

Also may want to replace the brackets on the windshield frame that hold down the convertible hooks since these look worn, and would appreciate any help in fitting down the convertible top (like where I can find new hooks to hold it down).

Want to replace the apparently original rectangle-shaped outer rear view mirrors as they are scratching the finish with round ones. I also placed in the car (temporary) seat belts as the car was in the middle of restoration, and came without belts. While I know that convertibles mainly arrived without shoulder straps, some did, and I would feel better if I had the added security of shoulder straps.

Really Really important is any and all info on the RS vented headlight doors. One doesn't work, and the other only works on occasion. Are there any sites which show the electrical/mechanic parts, and how I can repair them? I like the way it looks when the doors are closed, but still need to see where I'm going at night.

Last, is there a factory service manual for this year and type of Camaro? Really interested in the chassis/body and electrical (engine is not stock).

I'm sure as time goes by I'll find more things to tweak, but these are a start. Again, any and all help would be extremely helpful.
