i'm trying to convert from a '66 200 (6 cylinder) to a '79 302 (V8) in a '66 stang. but i cant find the proper mounts for the chasis as well as the engine. the ones i bought were dated '65-'70 but while putting the engine in, the mounts wouldn't match. somebody help!!!

i'm not too up on classic stangs, but it sounds like you need to either change to a k-member for a v-8 or cut out and weld new motor mount pads on your current one. best of luck, hope you don't run into similar problems with the tranny.

Re: engine swap
If it's a straight 6, then you will deff need to change the K-member.
