psi in 17" wheels

ok i just bought new 17" wheels & tires with kumo 40 series tires and the tires had around 41 psi and the max psi was 44 psi? how high should i have the psi. im just wondering if smaller series tires are diffrent?

I would go with 32-36 psi. Normally, tires are not filled near the rated capacity.

psi

38 psi would be best due to the low profile of a 17inch especially a 40 series anything else is to low and will give you bad wear.
