Heavy duty alternator?
I just got my new system all put in and it sound good. But I have two batteries in their(normal one and one in the rear that acts as a cappactor) and when I am crusing around and I am stopped at idel sometimes my batterie light comes on. Also being that my alternator is charging two batteries at the same time I think I need/want a Heavy duty alternator. How many amps is the stock one? Where can I get a new heaby duty one?

Re: Heavy duty alternator?
The stock unit on the turbo cars is 60 amps. I believe a 90 amp alternator from the 96 galants works in the 2gs. Dont know anything about 1Gs, or NTs.
