redline on a straight 6

i was wondering the redline on a straight 6 cyl 4 sp.. ive been tryin to find the best shift point....thanks

Most people say 6.5 to be safe. I've heard of build ones going much higher. Don't have a tach on mine so I cant tell you exactlly when I shift.

yea it doesnt have a rev limiter on it... and my dad says my mom has gotin pissed and revved above 8000 (8000 is just a guess)
