93 454 suburban fuel economy???

I just bought a 93 suburban 2500 4x4 w/ 454 that looks to have been well taken care of. I`m wondering what type of fuel economy[if any] I can expect from this vehicle.
I currently drive an 88 1500 ext cab 4x4 w/ 5.7

My guess is that the ecomomy shouldn`t be much worse than I get with my truck since the 454 doesn`t have to work as hard as a 5.7 might to pull the additional weight.

I am in the process of buying a '94 2500 4x4 with a 454. The dealer has been driving it for several months and said he gets 12 to 14 mpg. However, there has been some work done on the engine/exhaust and drive train (replaced the cam & lifters/new exhaust[cat back] and the gearing in the drive train is...3.73 I think...). But, based on what I have read [federal milage rating] you should expect the same.

I have a 1992 and it only gets around 8-9 but I have a bad ignition coil I am having fixed soon. So I hope to get 12 that would be great.

I have a 91 Suburban 454 and I get 15mpg since I bought it at 16K miles, I am amazed how people buy little trucks thinking better mpg.
