replacement seats for e36 3 series, any suggestions?
my leather seats in my 325 are cracking and starting to look bad as i near the 90,000 mi mark. the rest of the car is in great shape though, so i just want to replace or recover the seats. the only seats i can find online are the racing seats which are ok but is there anything out there a little less sporty and more luxury? has anyone had thier seats recovered? if so how does it look? I want the same firm leather feeling that my car came with. anyone who has redone their interior/seats please leave a post describing what you did and how it looks/feels! i would like to get some ideas from people that have some experience doing this stuff. thanks!

Re: replacement seats for e36 3 series, any suggestions?
my friend has a 95 mr2 turbo and he just recovered his seats for about $600. I don't know where he got the leather covers from, but they look awesome. all you have to do is take the seats out, pull off the old leather, and put the new on. it is held on by some pins. he said it was a bit.. to get right and time consuming, but I would say it was well worth it, they look brand new.

that would be awesome. if anyone knows where to get the leather or has more info on how to do this please post. thanks. also i would like to recover the seats in a different color (something other than tan, maybe black or something that would go nicely with the tan mouldings) and i have seen where people have covered the door panels with the same color leather as the seats. i would probably want to have this professionally done unless someone knows how to do it and it is easy. anyone know of any places that would do this for me? i checked out classic soft trim, they have an install place in pittsburgh (close enough for me), but does anyone know of any other place that does this? thanks
