Check out my new hatch *PICS*

Hey guys, I picked up my new hatch last Friday! Finally I have my dream car. It's a European SiR, a 1.6i-VT.
I have driven quite a lot the last two days and al I can say is..WOW
It's in good shape, the paint is perfect, no rust and compared to my old 1.5 the engine is a dragracing monster
Here are some pics

I know I need to lower it, that's no.1 on my wish list.
How do you like it?

Mate! Very nice!
Welcome to the real Honda owners club!

You must be so happy!
Not only is the engine just fucken awsome! but I love the chassis balance, give your self a few hours behind the wheel before you start getting really agresive with it though. I love throwing mine around, it always does exactly what I want it to, when ever I want it to. And things like understeer and oversteer are almost entirly up to the driver. The chassis is almost totaly neutral! (but it will oversteer badly and suddenly if you brake to hard and deep into a corner, but liberal use of the acclerator should get it going striaght again )

It looks very striaght and clean as well! Any mods been done to it?

Now what happened to the guy who posted on PH all time who also had a VTi?

To say I'm just happy is an understatement
The car is stock except a Supersprint muffler and a K&N drop in filter. Since I already have the muffler I think I will go for a complete Supersprint exhaust setup, it seems to be a very decent brand, not very known in the US I think?
And you're right I will drive the car for a good while to get to know it completely, it sure isn't anywhere the same as my old DX was
It somehow feels much more solid, the clutch, transmission, I don't know, feels good and everything powered, gotta love that. Those things add a few kg's but I kinda like some luxery.
Ok, enough typing I'm going for a drive :frog:

I went out with a chick who had an auto version of what would be your old DX here in NZ. What a pile of crap! I was always scared to drive it.

Our cars have 10 times the brakeing cornering and acclerating ablity.
Under the body they are a totaly differnt car. Infact forward of the windscreen they share nothing in common with the other civic models except the exterior body panels.

and as for extra weight? :finger: its more than made up for by having twice as much fucken Horsepower!
(all you need now are some JDM cams, and ECU )

A swap is just not the same either, Ok you get the engine, but you miss the stiffer frount sub frame, realigned and seriously retuned suspension, as well as the huge four wheel discs.
If anyone ever makes it down this way Ill happly take you for a drive and show you what I mean, and Im sure Bracer would be more than happy to do the same.
Compared to a regular Civic they are a totaly differnt car to drive. The only way you know your driving a lowly civic shopping cart is when you stop, get out, and look back at your car. :coolguy:

Enjoy it mate! :frog:
