Problem with AC...1999 Silverado
Recently started blowing warm air. Was not gradual. Should I assume I am low on freon? I've checked all fuses, except someone told me there is an in-line fuse. Is this correct? It has about 120k on it...any suggestions?

Is your information center giving you any messages about your ac?

Re: Problem with AC...1999 Silverado
Your compressure on your truck is made to shut down if it gets low on freon. This is done so it won't burn up on you. Not saying this is the problem but my wife's chevy ac quit working went to Auto Zone and picked up a rechrge kit there for around $20.00. You also can have them hook a gage up to it and they can tell you if it is low or they should be able to tell you if something is wrong with it.
