Electric Cooling fans on always w/AC
Someone else surely has had this problem. My electric radiator fans in my 94 Rodeo run all the time while the A/C is on. There is no overheating problem, plenty if R-134 and no other problem. It didn't do this until last Summer when it overheated in the parking lot while idling for 15 minutes while it was 98 degress outside. They have come on full time ever since. A pressure or temp sensor in the A/C system? If so, does anyone know the location? Thanks in advance for your help. Home email: [email protected]. Craig

My electric fan cycles constantly when the A/C is on, it has always done this since I've owned the car. The dual pressure switch (manual transmission) or the triple pressure switch (automatic transmission) controls the fan when the A/C is activated. It is located on the upper part of the receiver / dryer.
