It's a Paasche H. I practiced with it with water little earlier tonight and I'll NEVER touch a spray can again. I'll try and get some pics up.

Got a little question about the H. When I change nozzles, should I use the tip that is in the same vile as the nozzle?

Cool, good on you, mate! Another one converted. You're modeling will never be the same!

I have a Aztek airbursh with which I use cans of compressed air. Long story short, it drives me bonkers.
Until I get my own air compressor, I'm sticking with ModelMaster spray cans. On my first model I got great results using it. |

Re: Got my airbrush
sure.. IF you get an airbrush to save money, you will need to make a good investissement first (good airbrush and good compressor)
compressed air way is very expensive, and usualy, the airbrush that come with that are the heapest you can find. so you better stick with spraycan but a nice airbrush (Paasche H isn't a bad choice for a single action) can be cheaper and will produce better result I also had an astek (A370 I think, dual action) that came with a compressed air can, and I didn'T even finished 1 body before running out of air.. Pure crap.. Now I got a Compressor and I'm waiting a Badger Anthem... The fun will start

I'm having a little trouble with my airbrush. I was practicing with water and was attempting to make really thin lines but when I tried it just splattered everywhere.

geofroley, the Paasche H is a single action airbrush. You can't make thin line that that. You will need a Dual Action Airbrush like the Paasche VL, Badger Anthem/Crescendo, Iwata CR or others.. Single action Airbrush are good to paint body, bot not for making details like interior, chasis and other..

It said to turn down the paint volume and paint closer to the paper. The line got thinner a little bit but not pencil thin. |

Re: Got my airbrush
You need to look in your instruction
painting very close is possible, but you need to put lower air pressure (below 20psi is best, but some airbrush don't work this down)

Do you think it's because I'm using water and I have the wrong tip?
