As stated in the title, is there ANY negative side (apart the price) to replacing regular bolts by their stainless steel counterpart?

Re: Stainless Steel Bolts : Any disadvantages?
Stainless stell is as flexible as other steels, but usually it's strength is lower. There are of course extra strong stainless steels but then then the price go up, way up. Stainless is probably equal to 8.8 bolts.
Stainless bolts, or the even better super alloy bolts are prefered when the tamperature is high. |
