Re: Front End Problems
I'm not alone!! My 00 XJ did the same thing for ever till I replaced the track bar, and went through every damn bolt in the front-end tightening them up. If you use your Jeep for its intended purpose, than I would advise this be done periodically. Also check your upper and lower ball joints, uppers are greasable, lowers area sealed(at least on my 00), check for any slop. By the way, was your XJ in an acident lately, I ask only because mine started cracking and such after a 90's chrystler new yorker hit my DS FRT tire. Good luck.

Check your u-joints in the front axles. When mine went out it sounded like the front end was grinding itself to pieces!! They were really bad. They make less spectacular noises if not worn quite that much. Hope you find the answer! |
