90-91 Bumper fit 88-89s?

I know that Wings West only makes one bumper with it's RS kit. My buddy has a '89 & I have a '90. The bumpers are identical in size, shape & mounting. So yeah, I'd say the stock bumpers could be swapped around...

I'v heared that bumpers off a 96-99 will fit also with a little trimming on the sides, and a differnt bracket i'm sure.

They fit but the bumper lights and the grilles are different sizes. If youre talking about the stock one!

So a person could easily put a 90-91 bumper on their 88-89, right?

I heard you can put an 88-89 on a 90 91. But you cant put a 90-91 on an 88-89, has to do with the mounts or something? I dont know, I swear I just saw it on some other forums a day or two ago..

as long as you have the bumper support it will work. been there and done that.

Ahh I heard that was a difficult maneuver.

it's not that bad. it's on my car, so it can't be all that difficult . you just need to get 90-91 head light brackets

here's how it is...the 88-89 bumper lights are shorter in length than the 90-91's, so THE BUMPER could fit but the bumper lights wouldnt fit. you may be able to get a pair of corresponding bumper lights and bolt them to the stock mounting points, im not sure on that one
