driver side door lock non functional

driver side door lock mechanism responds but without moving (unlocking) the door...once the door is unlocked manually from another entry the driver side door can lock with a switch from either side.

look in the loom from the body to the door. it's covered by a rubber tube, there will be a pink and green wire broken
