Some Pics of my Collection

The link below has some pictures of my collection... I've only recently got a digicam, so it will be sometime before i can get pics of my entire collection... i presently have about 130 1/18 diecasts, the pictures are only a fraction of the collection... hope you guys enjoy...

The T/A and the Cayenne looks sweet!

Very nice. Where did you get the Caddys from?

Re: Some Pics of my Collection

the red Deville i bought off of ebay from this guy that does great custom rim changes, Emdub Customs... the silver one i bought and my friend Jesse and I painted it... it was the first time either of us have ever customized a diecast... some minor imperfections, but for a first attempt i'm happy with how it came out... The T/A is stock and the Cayenne is also an Emdub custom...

Thanks for the compliments... this site and the customs i've found on ebay have inspired me to try to customize on my own... so the Caddy was the first attempt... i plan on repainting another car shortly ...

The paint job looks good in the Caddy. I really like it.

130 1/18? I hope to get at least 75 by the end of the year.

Is that the only scale you collect?

Re: Some Pics of my Collection

thanks man!!

yeah, for the most part I only collect 1/18 scale... I've got some 1/24 scale from when i was younger... the only 1/24 scale cars i'll get now are of NASCAR's cuz the 1/18's are way too expensive.. but i only have a few of those... i stick pretty much to street cars...

Re: Some Pics of my Collection

thanks Mike!! ...every now and then, if you search ebay there is a guy that sells custom "shot-up" NYPD cars... this is the only Impala i've seen him do... he does mostly Crown Vic's ...i just search in the diecast toy area, limit the search to 1/18 and type in "custom" as the keyword

YOU SERIOUSLY SPENT THAT MUCH MONEY ON THAT EMDUB GUY? He is way over priced I have looking at that guy models for months and bottomline I am never gonna spend that much money on something I could do fo 1/3 that much even though they're very nice models I would rather take some time and do them myself. But nice collection either way.

Re: Some Pics of my Collection

... i don't use his "buy it now" feature... the cars i've gotten aren't too much more than what the stock versions will go for on ebay, and then throw in shipping... also, i'm very new to the customizing scene, the 3 that i have bought off of him have saved me time and have helped inspire me to do my own customizing which i've just begun... also, compared to some others that do wheel swaps, his are flawless... thanks for the compliment on the collection... i definitely respect your opinion, but just understand that in order for me to learn how to do the custom jobs, i need to invest and research how others have done it...

Re: Some Pics of my Collection

just checked out your gallery... pretty sweet... i started off as collecting and finding the custom police cars, but now that i've found this site i'm starting to customize my own... i'm actually in the process of making a custom LAPD police car and CHP police car... but i want to hold off posting exactly what they are until i'm finished, mainly cuz these will only be my 2nd and 3rd customs i've ever made myself and since there is the possibility of me messing up and taking some time i don't want to announce it and then be asked "where are the pics" lol ...but i love that NYPD 454 and the Lamborghini... hopefully chimneyville will start making the NYPD decals in 1/18 b/c that is what my diecasts are...
