Occasional Tranny Problem

Every now and then (like once or twice a month), the tranny in my GF's Lumina APV jolts, stays neutral for a little while, hard engages... does anyone else ever have this problem??

The tranny filter and fluid was changed last year, I've disconnect the TCC a few months back (hadnt stalled since) but we still have this slight problem mentioned above every now and then.

After some going thru the gears, it start working again.

It seems to happen mostly right after its initially started. Someone said that is may need to warm up.. but yesterday was like 90 degrees here.. shouldnt it be warm enough? Another thing that may have something to do with it is the need to turn around where we live... the turns the wheel all the way and I'm thinking maybe a shaft issue when she does that?!?!

Let's hear some opinions.
