Problem with 4L

I have a problem when I go to switch over from 4H to 4L. The 4H works fine, but when I hit the button to change to 4L the light doesn't come on and it doesn't feel like the vehical has changed. Any help would be greatly apprciated.

Re: Problem with 4L

i assume you are not moving when you push the button? put the transmission in park, then push the button on 4LOW and see if that helps. transmission must not be rotating when it goes into 4L.

Re: Problem with 4L

it wont work if you are moving but the 4h will, you have to stop all the way then put it in NEUTRAL then push 4l, i have raced in 4l, very powerful.
