Re: D16z6 Won't Start!HELP!

I'm just assuming you know how to use a Timing Gun. Hook the battery terminals up and hook the other clip to the No. 1 Spark Plug Wire. Then point it to the crank pulley and look for a small red speck/line. I mean fricking small. If you can't see it with the motor running and the gun, then do this. Either turn your front left wheel or pop it off and turn the crank by hand really slowly, either your or a friend look on the crank closely for the red ignition mark. Once you find it. Mark it with whiteout or red chalk. Then do the whole timing thing over and it should be okay.

dont forget the jumper wire which is under the hood or by the ecu depending on how you did your wiring or else you'll do the whole thing wrong! You might wanna check your rotor too. the screw in it does come loose and can mess up your timing.

Re: D16z6 Won't Start!HELP!

how can you time it with a timing light if the car dont run?is there something behind the dizzy that makes it start? I'm clueless cus there is no red mark between the two white marks on the crank pully.i lined the crank pully up where the red mark should be,is there marks on the cam gear i need to line up?
