I currently have the stock 15 inch rims and tires wanting to change to 17's but cant decide on 215 40's or 215's 45's worried about rubbing the fender wells

215/45's on your 17's should be fine and its closer to your stock overall diameter :flash:

also, 205/45's would work also on your 17's that's even closer to the stock overall diameter than the 215/45's :alien:

:o the 45's will give you a softer ride I have 40's on my car & boy do you feel every nuke & crany on the road I am selling those rims to a buddy wich he put on his car the other night, he has a show car that he never drives & he is crazy about those 40's so he got them for 6bills.

But go with the 45 if you can.:alien:

I have 205 40 17 currently and had 215 45 17 with no major issues other than you can't lower too much or risk eating through the fender well plastic crap.
