Prelude vs. Civic?

Well personally I think that civics have way better gas mileage. At least more than my dual carbs 24-27MPG. But I still believe Preludes are more comfortable to drive, have better pickup, and look better. What do u all think? BTW any1 have an older prelude for sale, preferably a fuel injected?

Re: Prelude vs. Civic?

Oh man, by asking that here you probably know the answer you'll get I love the cockpit to my 4th gen; I have ridden in and driven Civics of all generations (including the older and newer ones) and none of them were nearly as nice as a Prelude's cockpit. It feels like you're in a pilot's seat steering a plane.

Re: Prelude vs. Civic?

Both have their strengths and weaknesses. The aftermarket is more friendly to the civic, gas prices are more friendly to the civic, cheapness is more friendly to the civic, etc. But, after all you do to it, it's still a civic..

Stock for stock, the prelude wins hands down. Better suspension, cabin, acceleration, motor.. the list goes on and on..

Girls!

I don't know what u mean error. I pick up girls on my bike all the time. The key is to pimp it out just like u would a car. Neon underglow, pink handlebars, wheel glitter, and a BIG horn on the front that plays ice cream truck music. Maybe even a tachometer. With neon blue glow of course!

Pink underglow, I hope. With those blinker lights that you screw on your tires.

Re: Prelude vs. Civic?

I owned a 1995 Civic before my 94 lude, I love my cockpit on my prelude, I agree with aceshigh!!! I love it. MY civic was decked out, i did everything to it, but once i drove the prelude, i was in love. So much better, like prelewd said.... the list goes on and on and on and on

I have owned two Civics and love the gas mileage. But my Prelude is the car I have liked the most.

Re: Prelude vs. Civic?

They both obviously have their advantages.

If I was Honda, I would take my well-mileaged, lightweight car, mix it with the bigger displacement, torquier motor, sleek styles, well-crafted suspension. Hey look!!! I just built an Integra!!!
