slr mclaren vs mclaren f1

both of these cars are some bad motha shut yo mouth. so which one do you think is better?

the merc slr mclaren is a disgrace to the mclaren name. the car is made up of carbon fiber and still weights a porky 3700 lbs. the car has the most useless stuff in it such as a computer controlled brake system. instead of using traditional hydraulic brake master cylinder that is directly linked to the brake pedal. now the computer tries to guess what your tryin to do, and it leads to a really jerky and not smooth braking action. not to mention it adds more weight. the germans didn't let gordon murray have any of his ways. gordon murray was soo frustrated with merc that he even didn't show up on the debute of the slr.

the F1.. when i found out about it.. i was amazed.. such a nice car, owned at le mans, and beat lots of other supercars out there.. and its a N/A engine yah...

I can tell your knowledge of Sensotronic Brake Control is severly limited.

I choose the SLR, obviously (see signature). It's an everyday driver/super car. It was at my dealership on Monday and it was aboslutely gorgeous. Anways, what the hell would I do with an F1? I couldn't even drive it legally on the streets. I know my driving skills, I couldn't push either of these cars to the limit, though I wouldn't mind trying. I drove a new SL600 (twin-turbo V12 ) a couple days ago and it scared the shit out of me. If it weren't for ESP I would have ended up backwards into a light poll.

yes my knowledge my be limited but why da hell would they need such a thing? to show off how uneccessary it is? by wanting to add more weight? a car made up of carbon fiber weight at 3700 lbs is disgraceful. you can't hide the fact that benz put alot of uneccessary shit in there. if you can afford one of those, you have more then enough money to buy a comfortable daily driver, and use that purpose built super car for the track or racing. if your goin to compare true purpose built super cars to a poseur tenis club or country club super car, the true breds are goin to win. even though i know that i can never ever push those cars to the limit. but the principle behind the cars is still there. and knowing that i had to settle for a second rate performance car ( compared to the other two ) will make me feel like that i've wasted my money. all i would need in a car like that would be leather seating, power doorlocks, windows, a/c and a nice sound system. that is the more then enough to keep most people happy.
