Choices on Boost controllers... Apexi Super AVC-R or Greddy Profec-B

I'm trying to choose between the Avc-r and the profec B Boost controllers . They both have there good points, such as with the AVC-R, I don't have to buy a boost gauge or an A piller to install it (just started moding the car so don't even have an aftermarket boost gauge ) But the damn thing is super expensive. The Profec B is cheaper and seems to be almost as nice as the AVC-R (without the boost gauge and a couple of features). But anyways, Which is the better buy.

Why not follow one of the readily available tuning guides, and get an MBC, boost gauge, etc first?

SEARCH!!! you would probably be better off buying a MBC (manual boost controller) they are cheap and work great! do a search about boost controllers and see who recommends what... here is a thread a started a while back about the 3 top brand boost controllers... Apexi AVC-R, Profec B, Greddy E-01
