93 villager just died need some ideas
My wife just got home and tells me that the van died when she parked it tonight. I got outside and try to start it up but it only cranks.....everything electrical works and all the belts are tight oh and i checked all the fuses and added some gas but nothing.
So what is the next step? I know this sounds general but i am in the troubleshooting mode so im trying everything thanks! |

hmm
check spark plugs, also fuses
theres some fuses in black plastic containers under the hood. in case you don't have one, go to your local parts dealer and get a book on the 93 villager. no brand names mentioned, this is not an ad. Theres stuff i didn't know about the villager ex: you have to open two bleeder screwes while filling the radiator with coolant and close them after water comes out. Filling the cooling system in a conventional way may allow air bubbles to form in the system and you might over heat. |

When was the last time you did a timing belt change? Take the distributor cap off and crank it and see if the rotor turns, if it doesn't then you broke your timing belt.... |
