Welcome to AF Sketching and Drawing!

haha GTmike400, got to him before you...haha

ok, its pretty good, i think you need to work on sum of your proportions and your shading. your hood is off, as well as the headlights. the back tire looks odd and the rear view mirrors.

try the grid method, its stated in the faq
theres also a very good shading tutorial in there as well, it helps a lot. talks about using stumps, and tortillions, and really making the shading loook smooth.

its nice, i think only 1 or 2 people drew a mclaren on this forum.

it looks like you rushed this, trust me, i always rush my drawing, and i always know i can do better. If you take your time and try to make it exact, it willl look much better

right now, it looks like its melting but

its very cool...GOOD JOB

and you'll find very nice and interesting AND odd people on this forum

good effort. nice choice of car, too. keep drawing. maybe find a scale model of the car and have it sitting in front of you.

Hello, long time eh well guess what i am still drawing that Mclaren f1 LM, yes i know its been what? 3 month or so well the reason is not that i am lazy to finish it because i don’t have time... like school exams friends all these time consuming acts. Any way good news the drawing that i showed u before got ripped and now in the trash, don’t look at me! i didn’t rip it viciously apart, the story goes like this. Since i take art class and i don’t listen to the teacher talking and explaining bunch of bs to the people that don’t know how to draw... i mean they really cant draw lets face it there’s people that are bad or moderate and there’s people that break the lead once the grasp the pencil, ok all i do is draw concepts and exotic cars during this class. So once while drawing, i remember that i brought my Mclaren drawing with me to school... i thought i could finish it and well scan it and post it here, i took it out and started to draw, once drawing the teacher spotted the drawing and obviously got a shock from what i drew(since the teacher cant draw and is the art teacher some how! obviously it hurts)... no it wasn’t bad it was realistic. As the story goes the teacher took my drawing and started to show the people in the class, like it was some sort of sacred heliographic on paper, the waving action of the drawing asets the movement of people heads, so now some idiot grabbed the drawing and stared dazzlingly staring at it, after few seconds bunch of more retard clash and began to argue who gets to hold it. Not long after me sitting staring at all this i hear a ripping or should i say viciously ripping noise, obviously without looking i knew that the mentally challenged students in my class ripped it and stated to stare at me with the stance that there about to piss there pans. Me swearing in my mind almost charged and broke all those retards skulls...well they deserve it!!!! So now i am off again doing a brand new drawing of Mclaren LM. imo its looking way better then the old one. Btw i am one of the people that drew/was drawing the Mclaren LM ... for those who asked .Btw pretty good drawing, i suggest using a blending method to make the shadows more fluent, keep drawing the same car until u know most of the specs of it... Cheers
