main oil seal leak

i have an 85 chevy k20 but the seal in the rear of the oil pan is leaking how much work and time does fixing that involve? thanks

If im not mistaken, you need to to take the oil pan off and replace it there. My haynes doesn't cover it for your year. Sry.

Are you sure that it is not your rear main seal (rear bearing). If so, then it will take a bit more then removing your oil pan.
