94 ta running rough
cold the car starts and runs great but after about ten min. it starts to miss and run real bad changed the plugs , coil, and wires now i need help please it is 5.7

Hey, I am not an expert (by anymeans) on 94 ta's, but you might want to check few things on it.
Maybe your fuel lines are clogged, or the idle has been messed with. You never know, it might be a sticking piston, or even a tranny problem (idle and such). If I were you, i'd check all the easy stuff first since small and cheap stuff causes most of the problems on firebirds. Check your compression too, you never know. When one piston is low it hinders the whole machine. P.S. I am sure that you know about most of this stuff, if not better than me, and just spend some time give it TLC and it will work because all firebirds just never die. Peace. |

I'll be the potential bearer of bad news for you but it is most likely the optispark distributer failing. Part cost around 300 and you might want to get a new water pump while you have it off changing it out. I would bring it to a dealer for diags (75-90 bucks) just to make sure. Its not too hard of a job to change it out on that year car if your up to about 6 hours of labor.
