i have an 88 crx si and i put a 98 d16 engine in it only to realize that the engine mounts do not work from the old engine are there mounts other there that i can buy or do i have to weld ones in from a 98????????? i have been trying to figure this out for a long time and i have no idea

D = D do a search on d16y8 or what ever it is. This has been talked about here ALOT. The motor mounts are the same. Your tranny will bolt up. the only thing you have to change to make it right is doing the OBD2 wiring. DO A SEARCH ON THE D16?? <insert your motor here the #'s are on the front side of the block>

you CAN't use the tranny from the 98 civic. It won't bolt up. Use ur old tranny. Put ur driver's side mounting bracket on the 98 motor. Then ur all set.
