Brake Pads

holy hell, i just looked up brake pads for my 85 Iroc, $92 for front and 62 for rear, What the hell is this!!!!!!!!!!

has any one else expreriecd this, or is my buddy att he parts store fucking with me

Usually rear pads cost more than front ones.. And I can get them here for about $30.. cdn

While we're on the topic of brakes, how difficult and useful would it be to do a rear drum to disc conversion on my 97?

That would involve taking the axles out of the rearend and changing the brake backing plates. Youd have to change the proportioning valve up front too. Not super difficult I guess maybe just time consuming. It would be a good improvement but unless you find your brakes dont work good or you do alot of racing then its nothing to worry about.
