Accident waiting to happen...

So im driving to work this morning, and I see a bunch of cars swerving into the center lane from the left lane; obviously trying to miss hitting something. As I get closer, I notice that there is a caliper, yes a whole caliper, with the brake hose obviously borken/torn about 2 inches up, and brake pads in the middle of the road.......I was amazed to say the least, that the thing would even come off a car

Re: Accident waiting to happen...

wouldn't you think the person who lost that would be stopped somewhere close by, isn't that something your going to want to try and recover?

You'd think if it fell off....it would mess up the wheel

Re: Accident waiting to happen...

Not as crazy and what i saw the other day, i was driving (going about 80 ) along the interstate and i see this HUGE thing in the road. Thinking it was an animal i swerved to the left and it was a full ENGINE. The Shadow it fell out of was on the side of the road with the hood up and the entire undercarriage (im guessing where the engine slide under it) strewn along the side of the road

crazy

Re: Accident waiting to happen...

Think that's bad, just think about the car that's driving a long missing a caliper and pissing brakefluid...

Re: Accident waiting to happen...

This is too wierd that this type of post is on here today,
On my way to work this morning, three cars ahead there was a little old lady and her poodle with the head out the window thing that dogs seem to love doing.
She takes the sharp left onto a side street and there goes the poodle tumbling down the road.
The old girl just keeps on crusing, never seemed to notice at all.
Imagine her surprise when she gets to where she was going, " Fluffy? Here Fluffy. Fluffy, don't hide from Mommy".
Maybe they were heading to the vet and the dog bailed.
Btw, someone did stop and get the dog.
