buyer's advice needed
I'm looking at a 1995 honda civic ex coupe for sale in my area. Since kbb doesn't cover how much mods are worth, and my knowlege of hondas in somewhat limited, I'm asking you guys for advice. The car has 150,000 miles on it, but it has a b18b from a 1995 integra with 57,000 on it. The mods are as follows:
b18b AEM cai custom exhaust (not sure what kind, looked kinda cobbled together) Comptech lowering springs Tenzo R 17" wheels Exedy stage 1 clutch Hondata chip Crossdrilled brake rotors Several random suspension components from other hondas, e.g. anti roll bars from a civic ex sedan (I think) and more. He's asking $4500. He works at the local honda shop, so I think he knows what he's doing with the swap, etc. Is it worth it? Also, what kind of times can I expect it to run?

Re: buyer's advice needed
That's it? I'd expect better. The stock teg LS does it in 16 flat and weighs 200 lbs more, I would have thought 200 lbs less and 15-20 more hp would make for more than just .3 or so seconds more. Do you have experience with this, or is it just a guess?

Re: buyer's advice needed
I hate to be a bother, but I'm still thinking about it. I have a more complete mod list now, and a couple more questions.
Mods: b18b (57,000 miles) gs-r transmission (70,000 miles) Skunk2 short shifter AEM cai Tenzo R catback exhaust Comptech lowering springs Tenzo R 17" wheels Exedy stage 1 clutch Factory lightened flywheel Hondata s200 Crossdrilled brake rotors A-arms from another honda (teg I think) upper and lower front strut bar rear strut bar anti-roll bar from another honda (again, I think a teg) The main other car I'm considering is a gs-r. How does this compare in handling/acceleration? Discount the 17" wheels, as I will probably sell them and put 15s on. Does high 15s still sound accurate with these mods and somewhat-sticky 15s? Some more questions: What kind of times can I get out of this car NA without modding the internals (except maybe cams)? Will any turbo kit that fits an integra ls fit this, and will I have to mess with the s200 if I add boost? Will I have to ditch it entirely? Any opinions on this vs. a gs-r? Thanks for putting up with my nagging, it's just that I don't take the purchase of a car lightly. And my apologies in advance for digging up a dead thread.
