1996 Cobra vs 1999 Z28

I was headed over to my friend’s house and I came up to the light at the half waypoint of Airport Road. I pull up behind a 1999 Z28. He was next to some old truck. I turn my stereo off so I can hear it. It sounded nice. Had a cam and I wasn’t sure what else. It looked a little dropped and the tires were definitely bigger in the back. So what do I do? I decide to race it, go figure. I must like being the underdog, b/c I seem to be racing everybody above me.
The light turns green and the Z28 accelerates past the truck and sits at about 1 and ½ car lengths in front it. So I speed up and shift into second at 30 MPH and I just hit it as I pass him in the left lane. I hear him open up that 5.7 and I hate to admit it but it was nice. I shift into third and I don’t see him in the passenger window, so I am thinking “I WON!!!!”
NOPE
That Z28 pulls up beside me as I speed shift into fourth at 100 MPH. He paces me and then he pulls HARD!! I keep going to about 120 MPH and so did he. He probably got about 1 and ½ to 2 lengths on me. DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT. I slow down to the 55 MPH as he does. I pull in behind him and turn my blinker on to get him to pull over. He does. We pull over and I ask what has he done as I grab my camera. He says a cam and he redid his whole exhaust. He had some wide ass tires with some nice rims. I filmed his car and we talked and I found out that he was the guy I raced in the last story under this title. He was Skywalker. Well, looks like I will be upgrading my intake and exhaust as well.
