Been awhile...
Been awhile since I've been on AF. Been going through some crazy stuff ever since I got out of school. Got another F-body finally though! '88 IROC-Z w/350 TPI and a T-5. This is number 5. I will finally be able to get some pictures of my car up soon, since i now have a computer at home. Got a swap planned for it, which i plan having done in about a 1.5 to 2 years. Gonna put an LQ4/T56 combo in the car. It won't be driven while I'm doing the swap. I was also having some issue with the ROC when i 1st got it. The person i bought it off of said the #8 injector wasn't working. Engine was running hella rough. So i drove it home and replaced all the injectors with some LS1 injectors. All injectors where working after the swap, but a misfire was still happening. I then check all the plugs to see what the hell was going on, and i found out the 3 and 5 plugs wires were switched! I don't think the kid really knew the firing order. Anyways, after fixing that, engine was running smooth with a slight stumble. I still thought it was an ignition problem. So i replaced the coil and the wires thinking it may cure the problem. It didn't. I then found out that the regulator was a crane adj., so i figured maybe the engine wasn't recieving adequate fuel pressure. The fuel was set at 34psi, so i up'd to 44 and stumble was gone. This took about a month to figure out. Sucked. Aside from all the mumble jumble above. How's everyone doing? Formula, Wrightz28, GoldZ28, Savage, Rally, Philly, Geno, 92zcamaroperson, Morley, and who ever else i may have forgotten. How have things been on the board and just in general?

Re: Been awhile...
Damn, I missed alot i guess. Philly - I'm aight man. Once i graduated from school (went to WyoTech) i got a job at a Lexus dealer a couple of months after. Just been learning a whole alot about the automotive and what not. Did learn a whole lot school aswell. Makes figuring out these problems a whole helluva alot easier than before. 396!?!?!? That's gonna be pretty badass when it's done. Poor - I'll never forget this place. It's where i got all of my background info on f-bod's and what not. It's like my birthplace!! Rally got married to John, and I wasn't sent an invitation!??!!? LOL! 79Bandit - Main reason why I wasn't on was because of the lack of cpu access and moving away to school. Finally got back and I'm able to settle down and get things situated. Hopefully you get things straight so you can settle down aswell. Good thing you got the TA running. Getting another f-bod on the road or bringing one back to life is a blessing.
