First Race
My first race was tonite, i was running only a quarter tank, so i thought it would be a good night to finally run someone. I went downtown, looking for some one to race, then i park my car at the mall, and while i'm walking inside(hungry), i see a honda accord driving in, the i notice its my friends old car(he recently sold it), and i talk with the guy for a bit. This kid(same age as me, but acted much younger), was so happy he could race, i could tell 2F2F was his favorite movie. We find a nice 4 lane road, and his passenger gets out and starts the race. I had my worst launch, even though i've been practicing, and so does he, i spun my tires way to much. At the start, he takes me, mostly because i had to shift first, then as soon as i hit 2nd, i real him, pass him, then shift to third, i had 1 car length on him, when i hit 4th, and we were done. It supprised me actually, since he has a bigger motor, 2.2 vs 2.0, and his exhaust is cut off, where as mine is stock, and he has a CAI, where as mine is stock. The guy was nice after his lose though, and i went home, heres the stats.
'91 eagle talon n/t esi 5-speed, completely stock '92 accord EX 2.2 liter 5-speed, straight pipe exhaust, CAI. |

hmm, how can you say that when your car barely runs 15's?? I'm happy with my car, and only got it because i couldn't afford insurance on a TSI. At least my car looks good, unlike a taurus.

oh, and civracer, i don't like to race, just cuz i don't like to beat on my car much, but i really wanted to race this guy, just cuz hes the most gullable ricer in town, i could have told him to start in 2nd gear cuz its better for his engine, and he would have dun it.

Nice races, even if they werent 11 second runs it was still fun, and i think that is the whole point of street racing.
