Question celica awd conversion?

Does anyone know if a drivetrain from a st185 can be adapted to a st202?

st185 will not work

you will st205 parts, as well as the st205 trunk floor pan

since you are in japan, why not just get an st205?

not possible, the firewall would have to be removed/ cut apart.

i was contemplating this with the use of an sr20det and RWD tranny/rear end from a nissan silvia.

too expensive, too much work, and LOT OF DOWN TIME

This is a very difficult conversion to do.

Lots of parts are not the same. Easier to purchase the real thing, first.

The fuel tank for example is in a bad spot.

Re: celica awd conversion?

Why not just throw a fuel cell into your trunk and free up some space underneath??
