Engine boggs and hesitates when accelerating from stop
I have a 93 G20 with about 180K. It has been running fine until yesterday when the problem showed up. When accelerating from a stopped position, the engine would bogg down and hesitate. When it get past 25 MPH then it would drive more like normal.
It starts up just fine and idles just fine. It's only when accelerating that I experience the problem. Can anyone suggest what may be wrong? Thank you. tuan |

Common problem.
Check your throttle body it could be very dirty, and if it is clean it. Also may want to get an engine treatment with 180k on the engine if you haven't before. Other than that no idea. -DaBat |

Re: Engine boggs and hesitates when accelerating from stop
I change the spark plug wires; the #1 wire was cracked and did not fire correctly. New wires did the job. Thanks.
