Question Engine Needed

I've got a 1996 Blue Extended 4X4 with a blown engine. I would like to find a rebuild, but don't know where to look (other than Shucks). Low milage would also be okay. Also any info about what to look for to make sure that the replacement is the same and will accept the existing manifold etc. would be appreciated.

I live in Washington State.

How much would you be willing to pay?

I have a 318 Magnum from a '94 Grand Cherokee sitting in my Jeep Wrangler right now. I was doing an engine swap but ran out of money/time/know-how. I got the engine from a technician who worked for Jeep and apparently the car only had about 25k miles when they swapped it out.

Just let me know.

Re: Engine Needed

You could just go to a wrecker and pick up a whole truck for cheap. The swap is easy if it's the same engine type.

If I were you, I'd use this as a good excuse to put a nicely built engine in. Like a big block. I'd sooo do that...
