Question 1982 Convertible LeBaron... Need ideas...

I need any and all ideas you can give me on restoring my "new" LeBaron. I am definately not a car know-it-all, though I am wanting/trying to learn. Who said girls can't work on cars? LOL well anyways here's some specifics (that I know so far)

1982
LeBaron
Convertible- top will need to be replaced soon
Leather- very worn
Automatic

I have always loved LeBarons and now I'm finally getting one... Any websites you know of that would be helpful would be greatly appreciated. My IM name is listed and then my e-mail is [email protected] (that's a zero).... I was also told that there may be a minor leak in the exhaust. At this point, we do not know where the leak is or anything, and I know that this could be a potentially major problem, but hey the car's $500 and it's all I can afford right now as a college student. Well, thanks!

Re: 1982 Convertible LeBaron... Need ideas...

Too bad you're in indiana... I've got one sitting in a field at a freind's that had terminal turbo failure and the motor's apart for a rebuild that'll never happen. The interior, top and body are in fairly good shape, and it's leather, no cracks but lots of creases...and everything but the motor is ok.
You could've had it for cheeeeeep. (hasn't run in 6 years)
still looks nice though.

Good luck with yours,
Slantsixness

Lebaron Convertible

I have an 84 Lebaron convertible. If there is something I can help you with concerning questions or where to find what you need to fix your car just let me know. I have restored several cars over the years and plan on doing much the same to my own car. I live in NE Indiana.
