2003 Tahoe Mirror Memory problem
An FYI for the members out there...
I have a 2003 Tahoe that was having an intermittent problem with the drivers side mirror not always going back to my memory position. The dealer couldn't duplicate. When some engineers at the reliability clinic I attended looked at it, they determined that the motor in the mirror was getting into an "over current" situation. When over current is detected, the computer will tell the mirror to stop moving. If you again pushed the memory button, it would continue its movement to the correct position. They replaced the mirror and it hasn't had the problem since. Russ |
