Canadian Registration

Ok, since as of August 2004, 1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R's will be legal in Canada this opens a new "possible" backdoor....

Could I somehow have the car registered in Canada (perhaps to a storage unit) without being a Canadian resident? Then bring the car over to the USA every once in a while just for fun? I'd be more than willing to pay the $100/month storage unit fee, while I'm saving up to pay Motorex.

I'm sure this has been thought of, not breaking new grounds here, but I haven't seen this asked here before, and I'm just looking for confirmation either way.

Thanks,
Jason

Good luck getting a Candian registration (which ever province) while not being a resident. Thats going to be your catch.
