grand am sunroof

Does anyone know if there is a common problem with the sunroof in the grand ams? My sunroof does nothing when I push the button, so I went to the junkyard and bought a used one out of another car. I bolted the whole assembly into my car and it worked until I finished putting the headliner back in, now it usally doesn't work and then once in a while it will any ideas?
