88 Pontiac Firebird GTA
I'm thinking of buying my friend's '88 Pontiac Firebird GTA for $20 -- yep, twenty dollars...
anyways, it has a busted transmission, so i was wondering how much would it cost me to get a new tranny installed... and how much do you guys think would the insurance be for the car in so. cal... thanks!

if you can get it that cheap get it, you can
get it re built for $175, i bought a 87 gta out of a junk yard for $250 and had had it redone and got 9,000 out of it. had a 350 tuned port in it. its tranny was weak needed all new clutches, was 175 to get it rebuilt i had to buy the rebuild kit $140
