The Toyota maintenance manual recommends replacing the timing belt every 60,000 miles only for Special Operating Condition "extensive idling or low-speed driving for long distances as in heavy commercial use such as delivery, taxi, or patrol car."
Does this mean you never have to replace the timing belt unless you operate in this special operating condition? Or do you have a longer period for replacement - say 90,000 miles? Thank you! |
